The Mall Network is dedicated to assisting organizations and local communities in developing and managing multi-service centers.

We provide individualized technical assistance and materials to help our members succeed in their efforts to create a Mall in their community.

Accessing Technical Assistance

  • Review the Technical Assistance opportunities below.

  • Submit a request for Technical Assistance information - via email or phone.

  • Mall Network staff will respond promptly to your request, within 2-3 business days.

  • Mall Network staff will discuss your requests with you in more detail to determine the best way to meet your needs.

  • Based on this communication, Mall Network staff will work with you to establish an appropriate technical assistance plan.

 

Technical Assistance

The Mall Network provides technical assistance by providing comprehensive, individualized technical support. We do this by providing assistance:

  1. Understanding local community policies, perspectives and capacities.
     

  2. Identifying various strategies to gain support of community stakeholders. 
     

  3. Enhancing collaborative partnerships with local, state and Federal entities.
     

  4. Identifying and evaluating potential development sites.
     

  5. Identifying funding sources; ensuring sustainability.
     

  6. Understanding the components of a comprehensive multi-service program and the basics of effective programming at the local level
     

  7. Developing a post-development action plan to maximize community relations efforts.
