The California Endowment, Center for Healthy Communities is an innovative venue for mobilizing community and civic leaders, health providers, advocates and policymakers in the search for solution to California’s critical health and health care issues.

The Center offers a variety of programs and services throughout California, as well as a conference center in Los Angeles.

The Center is part of The California Endowment’s new home in downtown Los Angeles, located at 1000 North Alameda Street. The complex houses The Endowment’s administrative headquarters, the Los Angeles regional program office, and the Center for Healthy Communities. It is adjacent to Chinatown and Olvera Street and across the street from Union Station.

Award-winning Los Angeles architecture firm Rios Clementi Hale Studios created an open, inviting and contemporary multipurpose facility that complements this historic, culturally diverse area of the city, Works of renowned California artists were commissioned as part of the public art program and can be viewed throughout the Center.
